From here, climbing a small staircase, you will be behind the Amenano Fountain, known as the acqua a linzolu ; this is the visible testimony of the Amenano river, which flows underground and emerges right in the main city point.

Once recovered from the hypnotic pouring of the river waters into the fountain and turned around the corner Piazza Duomo will appear to your eyes, from whose center the Liotru, the elephant obelisk, symbol of Catania, rises towards the sky.
